WellSent collects and processes the following information:

• Email address and basic profile information from Google OAuth
• Google Calendar events (birthdays and anniversaries only)
• Contact addresses you provide for sending greeting cards

Google Calendar Data Handling

WellSent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What calendar data we access:

• We request read-only access to your Google Calendar (calendar.readonly scope)
• We only access events containing keywords: "birthday", "anniversary", "bday", or similar terms
• We never modify, delete, or create calendar events
• We do not access or store the full contents of your calendar

How we use calendar data:

• To identify upcoming birthdays and anniversaries
• To send you timely email reminders before important dates
• To help you generate personalized greeting messages
• We do not share your calendar data with any third parties
• We do not use calendar data for advertising or marketing purposes

Data retention and deletion:

• Calendar event data is stored only for the purpose of tracking upcoming dates
• Access tokens are stored securely and encrypted
• You can disconnect your calendar at any time from your dashboard
• When you disconnect, we immediately revoke access and delete your calendar access tokens
• Tracked event data can be deleted individually or by deleting your account

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Identify upcoming birthdays and anniversaries from your calendar
• Send greeting cards to addresses you provide
• Send you email reminders about upcoming events
• Provide customer support and improve our services

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in our database. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Calendar access tokens are encrypted and stored securely.

Third-Party Services

WellSent uses the following third-party services:

• Google Calendar API (to read calendar events)
• Email service providers (to send notifications)
• Payment processors (for paid features, if applicable)

Your Rights and Data Control

You have full control over your data:

• Disconnect Calendar: You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard, which immediately revokes our access
• Revoke Permissions: You can revoke WellSent's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page
• Delete Data: You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@wellsent.app
• Export Data: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Delete Account: Account deletion removes all your data from our systems
